Harlequin Doll Design.

For my design show i'm doing a miu miu fused with the nutcracker wind up doll inspired dress. here are some inspiration photos i've collected from the 2008 ready-to-wear collection.

Here is the fabric i found for the bodice. the colors don't show up well on my camera phone, however just imagine them looking like the color schemes shown above. very jewel oriented. it's furry and shiny and it reminds me of new years!!!

For the rest of the dress i have black silk for the skirt and sheer black silk for the arms. i think this will be a very beautiful, inspired design. totes esssited!
